Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors and Other Service Providers

We support several professional groups which include vocational rehabilitation counselors, human resource managers, and other service providers who work with people with hearing loss. You all share a common need to know about ALDs. You also have primary responsibilities other than assistive listening devices.

Communication Assessments

As part of our Communication Assessment Services, we have completed hundreds of in-depth, personalized communication assessments that identify the communication demands of people who have hearing loss. We recommend appropriate accommodations to meet their needs. For example, vocational rehabilitation counselors and human resource managers have found our Communication Assessment service valuable for case documentation. It has been useful in providing third party recommendations to employers or documentation in cases involving determination of the impact hearing loss has on successful employment outcomes.

The Learning Center

Becky Morris has presented workshops and training to over 1000 professionals over the past 10 years, published articles in all the major hearing industry journals and co-authored a chapter in an instructional book for the International Hearing Society.
