You May Be Eligible for a Free Telephone
We sell amplified telephones and can ship them immediately to you that will help regardless of your level of hearing loss. However, many states offer free telephones if you meet their eligibility requirements which usually includes a letter or signed form from your hearing specialist or doctor.
We care about you and offer this page as a resource, especially if your budget does not support a good, amplified phone. You won't find many companies that will disclose this kind of information before you order!
We just hope that you'll remember us when you do need assistive devices.
Check your state telephone distribution program here.
Thought About Trying Hearing Aids?
While ALDs can offer solutions for very specific situations, you may want to hear better in general. If you think you might need hearing aids (or your family tells you that you do), then you owe it to yourself to find out about the new technologies available.
Don't know where to start? Ask your friends for referrals to a hearing healthcare professional near you. We are affiliated with many professionals who offer total hearing solutions, including ALDs.
Look for a hearing healthcare professional in your area.
Hearing Loss Information Resources
You need to start somewhere to find reliable information about hearing loss on the internet. We've included some of our favorite sites here.
Are You Working and Need Hearing Assistance?
Each state has an agency of vocational rehabilitation that helps people gain and retain employment. The counselors in these offices may be able to assist you in obtaining hearing aids and technology. They can also assist you in finding local resources. If you are employed (or looking for employment) and have a hearing loss, then rehabilitation services may be helpful to you. Look in the white pages in the government section of your phone book for state agencies with 'rehabilitation' in their name.
