The Cardionics amplified stethoscope with traditional eartips provides superb sound quality for anyone with a hearing loss. The Escope delivers unparralled sound for heart, breath, bruit, bowel or Korotkoff sounds.
Automatic shut off after 2 minutes preserves battery life. (If you prefer 8 minute or 60 minute shut off, you must specify at the time of order at no additional cost).
Volume control and filter controls are on the stethoscope head for easy operation. The frequency switch for heart sounds (45-900 Hz) and breath sounds (50-2000 Hz) allows you to listen to a particular sound. The design of the Escope significantly reduces the amplification of unwanted room noise when used in the heart sound setting. A little more noise is introduced when using the lung sound setting due to the wider frequency band.
The Specialist adult diaphragm is included along with a pediatric diaphragm, infant bell and choice of eartips.
The E-Scope operates on a standard, off-the-shelf AAA battery. It will power the E-Scope for approximately 4 months of regular use.
Optional StethView Digital Recording System. The E-Scope can be connected to a PC to display, record and playback heart sounds (as a phonocardiogram) and breath sounds (as a phonopneumogram). See StethView software for more information.
