Judy Vinegar received hearing assistive technology (HAT) training from the SHHH/Gallaudet University/RERC (Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center) 2003 HAT training program in Oakbrook, Illinois. Later, she presented HAT workshops in Texas, New Mexico, Ohio and Kentucky. Currently, Judy provides HAT trainings for Kentucky Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists and Disability Service Providers and is working with Beyond Hearing Aids, Inc., as a HAT trainer and technical writer. Previously, Judy worked as a registered nurse, board-certified cytologist, and technical writer.
